Robotics Club

Middle School students have the opportunity to be a part of our after school Robotics Club. We utilize VEX IQ Robots provided by the NRSC (National Technical Institute for the Deaf (NTID) Regional STEM Center)). Throughout the year, students will work in teams to design, build, and program a robot to play this year's VEX IQ competition game.

Our top teams will have the opportunity to compete in a robotics tournament for Deaf and Hard of Hearing students as well as local VEX IQ competitions. During these competitions, students will collaborate with other teams and be interviewed by judges which will provide opportunities to develop communication and problem solving skills.

During the 2023-2024 school year, we had one team qualify and compete in the International VEX IQ World Championships in Dallas, Texas.
